Carting with my Fila

It's been a while since I updated the blog...and a lot has transpired in the interim! The Pupsicle has grown into a big, very handsome boy as he approaches his second birthday...but still not even a hint of temperament or ojeriza. What a shame!

He's still the most eager to please fellow and is thoroughly enjoying his carting lessons, apart from a couple of incidents where he lay down in the traces when he couldn't figure out what to do next. Can't wait to save up enough to get one of those Jim Walsh sulkies from Australia and go tearing along the country roads...woohoo!

At the moment we're using a home made cart made from parts scrounged from an old farm cart that was pulled by a garden tractor, and a hammock frame. (really). It's rather rough in design but has been useful in educating the boy as to what carting is all about. As soon as I get my hands on a digital camera again I'll post pictures.

It's a LOT of fun, you won't regret giving it a try!
