Skunked!

A midnight walk looking for the Wretched Horse ended up with all dogs getting themselves into an altercation with a skunk which of course resulted in a mad scramble for the most effective anti-skunk recipe.
In case anyone else encouters the pretty striped kitties, this one is the most effective.

* 1 quart of 3% hydrogen peroxide
* 1/4 cup baking soda
* 1 teaspoon dish-washing detergent

Tomato juice also works, also a tomato juice/apple cider vinegar combo. And hey, when skunks do that little dance, it's not because they're happy to see you...run, run like the wind!
