I see that you are trying all avenues to rescue dogs! Kudos to you! I really hope you find yourself surrounded by a whole hoard of grateful rescue dogs that will live out their lives in joy soon!
Ok - so the jury is in. I was told that Wrigley was a Fila during the rescue process here, but apparently he is not, not sure exactly what he is at this stage (perhaps not a pure bred at all), but not a Fila.
Please don't give up on the rescues, I know you are likely already aware that rescues are much harder to adopt from than breeders - breeders will part from animals for money, rescues will only part with animals when they are convinced they are sending them to the right place. I love what one rescue owner told me - "I never set my dogs up for failure, I have to know that they are going to the right person and that it's the right fit." Most rescues want to meet you and have you spend time with a dog before they will let you have them, and even though it's a few more hoops than a breeder will have you go through, when you love animals you know it's for all the right reasons. :)
Good luck finding your furry family - and thank you for your patience while I got back to you!
